This is the 'Give it a Whirl' wiki-ed book. It's compiled by Year 10 students who are studying Music at St Peter's College in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Give it a Whirl is a song composed by Kiwi musician Neil Finn and is also the title of a kiwi pop/rock tv series. Part of our main Year 10 Music project at St Peter's involves compiling a brief history of Kiwi Pop and Rock. Here goes...
