Explanation - criteria

• Write a brief plan showing the outline
• Write about a topic you know about through - experienced or second hand
• Begin with an informative opening statement
• Organise supporting information into paragraphs which have logical links
• End with a concluding statement
• Use precise and technical vocabulary related to topic
• Tense remains consistent with the information -
• Punctuated with full stops, commas, speech marks etc
• Spells words correctly
• Rework and revise by rearranging, expanding, adding, deleting

Afterwards

• Includes references
• Include diagrams, pictures, photos and videos to give greater clarification
