  • In-business entrepreneurs who need more technical and practical notions of entrepreneurship

Pre-requisite knowledge

  • Should be able to read and understand english
  • Should be motivated about entrepreneurship

Desirable Characteristics of the learner

  • Ability to communicate and ask for support when required.
  • Have some idea of the business–line he/she would want to venture into.

"Graduate" profile On completion of the program, the participant will be able to:
  • identify and select an appropriate business idea
  • develop a business plan
  • market his product or service
  • Determine pricing of products and services
  • keeping good business records
  • provide quality customer service
  • effectively select and manage staff
  • communicate effectively with all business stakeholders

Develop curriculum outline NB The Curriculum we're developing is intended for a full-fledged program which will enable any potential or actual entrepreneur to develop the skills and knowledge to be able to effectively and efficiently manage his/her enterprise. There are no limits to the size of the entreprise - our only wish being that with the help of this programme, the entrepreneur evolves positively and knowledgeably.

The different units can be used as and when required or the learner can eventually follow the programme as it has been designed. For any additional support, please contact the institution...etc.. The outline of the proposed is as follows: (Please note that this is a tentative outline and can be ammended/improved by the 7th August 2006 by all participants coming to Mauritius and other stake-holders)
