Delivery Approach

A combination of asynchronous and synchronous eLearning. Students and Instructors should have access to a computer with a internet connection, Microsoft Word, and a Google account. Students will host all of their work on a Google Site, and interact with one another though a core site.

Assessments

  • 10 -15 Reading Journals 10% - 15%
  • 2 Short Stories (2000 words) 60%
  • 3 minute presentation over a selected reading 15%
  • Reflective essay (1000 words) 10%

Interactions

Students will interact with one another using a combination of active and passive approaches, which include watching and creating screencasts. Providing written feedback to fellow students using Microsoft Word, or a shared Google Doc. Using either Skype or Google Hangouts to actively peer review each others creative work.
