Using Windows Live/Using the Hotmail Calender
You can access the Hotmail calender from your home page by clicking on the calender link in the Hotmail box. When you've opened the calender it will look like this.
Change the date: use the mini calender in the top left corner
Make an appointment: double-click on the day that you would like the appointment on or select New - event. A social event is one that you can invite other people to.
Set a reminder: The calender will send you a reminder for an appointment that you have set. When you are making the appointment, click on add more details and if you scroll down you will be able to set the reminder to occur at a specified time before the appointment.
