Hi Gunther
I am from Trinidad (West Indies)... Part of the "boot camp" working on the Life Skills document. I recently joined the project, so I am just learning the ropes and enjoying every minute of it. There is so much to learn and to share. I have been an educator for many (30) years at various levels and diff. positions - administrator, teacher -diff. subjects and hope to continue for some time. Great "meeting" you. I am really excited to be part of this and plan to encourage others to join the "discussion"
What Communities are you connected to?
Hi Betty,
I am Randy Fisher (aka WikiRandy|Wikirandy) and I am involved in doing [[Community_Building_Project|Community Building:http://www.wikieducator.org/Community_building_project on WikiEducator.
Over a 30-year career, I am sure that your are connected to many people and groups. What communities are you connected to?
What is needed in Trinidad?
Hi Betty,
wow, after 30 years being an educator still curious about something new like a wiki for educational resources! Most elder colleagues of mine only want to stay with what they have!
So, your great experience is very much needed here in WikiEd! I would like to ask you, to start right away with our discussion, what you think would be most useful to put on the wiki for the schools in your country? I’ve recently started up this theme on our Google groups discussion forum, and would like to invite you to go there and join in. F. ex. I’ve started a project on astronomy, but I’m not so sure there is enough interest for that.
Best regards, Günther--White Eagle 16:43, 13 June 2007 (CEST)
