About Me
I'm a development anthropologist and educationist, having worked in the development field - in project, program and policy areas - for some 27 years. I have worked in all regions of the world. I'm presently on leave of absence from CIDA to work with the Commonwealth of Learning as its Education Specialist for Higher Education and Policy Development. My activities revolve around policy advice; institutional quality audits; quality assurance; faculty development in distance education; postgraduate studies in legislative drafting & business and public administration; and training in ODL and pedagogy - all aimed at promoting greater access for students to tertiary institutions, more effective and efficient institutional management, quality teaching and learning and critical human resources development.
