My Profile
I am Vitoria Mensah, a lectururer at the home econmics department of the University of Education, Winneba. I lecture in Clothing and Textiles. I've been lecturing in this institution for about five years. I had my diploma and first degrees at the same institution that I am lecturing after which I pursued my Masters degree in Heriot-Watt University, School of Textiles in Scotland, Edingburgh.
My research interest is on Clothing and Textiles:
- Fabric performance with regard to making of formal suit.
- Social psychology aspects of clothes and
- Pattern cutting.
My philosophy in life is "the sky is the limit". I always try to achieve whatever I want to achieve in life no matter the odds.I also like sharing whatever knowledge that I acquire with my students, colleagues and other people around. My second philosophy is "knowledge is like a Baobab tree, no one individual can embrace it"
