About the Course Author

I am a full-time print and web editor who works with a team to develop and produce examinations and distance education courses at Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning, in Kamloops, BC, Canada. My employer's website is: http://www.tru.ca/distance/

My undergraduate is in English and my diploma in editing and workplace writing. I also studied journalism and spent six years in the film industry.

Currently, I am enrolled in my fifth course toward a Master of Education (Distance Education) and am studing at TRU and Athabasca University. I am also completing a TESL (teaching English as a second language) certification.

I'm Interested In:

• Learning to use blogs, wikis, and OERs to inform my developing teaching practice
• Sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources with others in the WikiEducator community
