My name is Darren Sudlow and I am educator based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
My current position is as eLearning Leader for Cantatech, a cluster of eleven rural schools in Canterbury. My job entails leading our online learning programme that caters for students who want to take subjects that aren't available in their own school. We use a mix of video-conferencing and online tools like Moodle. Other aspects of my job involve supporting the use of online technologies by all staff and facilitating collaboration between staff, across schools (and that's where Wikieducator comes in).
In terms of teaching subjects I work in the Social Sciences, most especially Social Studies, History, and Classical Studies
Outside of my job I am a husband to my lovely wife and father to two youngs boys.
