Business Coaching and Consulting
In June 2006 I joined "Boot Camp" on the Gold Coast of the RIBI - Results In Busines Institute- Group. This was a seven day intensive training which changed me from an Orthopaedic Nurse into a Business Coach and Consultant. The training was great, a steep but excellent learning curve, full of plenty of laughs and of course tears too. In the week we always started on the beach at 7am with a group session with a personal trainer, Ross Hancock - one of the principals of RIBI - is convinced of the "Healthy Body Healthy Mind" brigade so made sure we all had to contribute!! It was a great start to every day, when lunches were elaborate and drinking with the group came a compulsory exercise every evening!!
I joined a group of ten Ausis and one other Kiwi, Ray who was ex-army and living in Kakanui. Together we were transformed through a series of training, excellent speakers, and activites to lean, mean Business Coaching machines!!! We were allowed a half day off, when the girls hit the shops and the guys..... well yes they went to the pub!!! Some of the braver ones joined the girls on our shopping fest and then hit the pub!!!
