Ms Funja is passionate about Information and Communication Technology for Development , she is the founder and CEO of Agrinfo read more- an organisation that focuses on documenting farm land ownership. She is the current chairperson of ICT of a community of women in technology called Buni Divaz that work in Buni Innovation hub[1]. She holds a Masters in engineering in Information and Communication systems from Huazhong University of Science and Technology[2] in China PRC. She is a Mandela Washington Fellow 2014, attended a Public Management Course at Syracuse University[3]in New York. Ms Funja is Director of ICT and Research at the University of Bagamoyo[4], where she also lecturers in ICT courses. She is also served as Dean 2013- 2015 at the college of Science, Informatics and Built environment.Prior to academia, Rose worked with Huawei Technologies International [5] as a Senior Product Manager. She is experienced with wireless telecommunication technologies and pioneered projects in various countries and regions including China and east and South Africa. Rose has been actively involved in Rotaract [6] and served as the Kwanza Club President 2005 when she was a student at the University of Dar es Salaam [7]
