My profile
I am Dr Patrick Kwashie Akorsu, a Ghanaian by birth. I believe in co-existence, mutual respect and understanding of one another.
Professional Background
Dr Patrick Kwashie Akorsu was trained as a Development Planner and later moved into Business. Currently, I am a faculty member of University of Cape Coast Business School. I have taught courses in Finance, Investment and General Management. I have additional responsibility as a counsellor for students in my department and a hall of residence of the University. I love mentoring the youth and engaging them in productive ventures. My current interest is in Youth Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy and Small Business Development.
Education
I hold a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, SA, Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Ghana, and a Bachelor's degree in Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. I have also been trained in Educational Fundraising by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, Europe Office in the United Kingdom.
