Introduction

I am Pau Iosefa Iakopo a female of Vailele-Uta.I am married to Seumanutafa Malaki Iakopo and we have five wonderful children, 3 boys and two girls.My husband is a Forester by profession and I am a teacher and administrator.We live on our own privately-owned land just opposite the Fagalii-Uta golf course. My husband is a keen golfer and I love walking and jazzercising.

Employment

I am a co-owner of a private school called Samoa Primary.I teach full time as well as share the administration side of running the school.I am also the local consultant for writing and reviewing the Primary Social Science Curriculum from Pre-School to Year 8, a mammoth task which needs to be completed in six weeks.

History of the School

Myself and two other colleagues established our school in January 2004, so this is our 5th year of operation. We employ a teaching staff of 20 teachers and a support staff of 4. We have 16 classes; two per level from Year 1 to Year 8. Our current roll stands at 330.We currently operate on a 5 acre plot leased from government.
