Personal Information

My full name is Peter kwanairara Ambuofa. I am currently the Supervisor of Arnon Atomea Distance Learning Centre. I'm from Malu'u, North Malaita, Solomon Islands. I was born in 1980 and the first in a family of Seven.

I started my Primary Education at Gwaiau Primary School in the Highlands of North Malaita. I moved down to Coastal Malu'u and completed my Grade six in 1992. I was then accepted to Form 1 of Secondary Education at Su'u National Secondary Schoolin 1993. I completed my Form 5 Education at Su'u National Secondary School in 1997 and was accepted to form 6 at King george sixth school in 1998.

In 1999, I was awarded a Government Scholarship to study Computer Science at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology in lae, PNG. My time at Lae was quite hectic and that my years there were not that very fruitful, however I managed to graduate only with a Diploma in Computer Science.

I am a Solomon Islands citizen and was brought up as a die hard Solomon Islander. I enjoyed most of my time in the rural areas as town life is very influential and expensive. I am still very interested in taking up studies at any University Overseas. Hopefully, I will become somebody of great use and importance to my people and my nation in the future.

I am married with three children. Demina, Talana, and Pattrick Taloi.

COMMUNITY

I come from Malu'u, North Malaita. Solomon Islands. To be realistic, Malu'u community is one of the fastest developing Communities in the Solomon Islands. It is located at the Tip of the main Island of Malaita. For the past two years, I have seen major improvements and development flourishing in the Community. The Examples of these types of developments are.

I am also very excited about my peoples interest in working for the betterment for our younger generations

ABOUT ME

A kind guy who jokes a lot but greats angry quickly, a noise maker witha brain full of all past memories of laughter and fun.

I am very much excited because I am one of the few Solomon Islands who knows how to use Computers. With that, I am the first North Malalitan to actually conduct training students on how to use computers in my area. I have graduated with a Diploma in Computer Science from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology in lae PNG in year 2001. Moreover, with this very low qualification, there were many already have received Computer training from me and I hope there will be thousands more that will learn from me in the future.

With these I am still very interested in taking up a course in order to get a degree in Computer Science. I am also very interested to taking up Management and Administration as these are two area that I am still trying to cope.
