Jennifer Palmer Crawford
I am a Teacher Educator at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. CFBC is a community college in the Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis. My substantive position at the college is Head of the Division of Teacher Education.
After working as a substitute teacher for three years, I began my post-secondary education in 1987 at the then St. Kitts - Nevis Teachers' College. After the first year, all government funded post-secondary institutions were merged into one institution which was christened "The College of Further Education" and I thus received the distinction of being part of the first graduating class in 1989. I continued my formal education at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica, where I graduated with a BSc in Psychology and Management Studies in 2000. In 2004, I graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada with a MASc in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. This year, I'm working on a research project.
I enjoy the rigours of academia and found my research activities to be rewarding. I am presently complementing my formal education with a number of professional development courses.
In my spare time I like visiting online local newspapers. Visit the democrat newspaper and read about the Teacher Education Awards for 2008. I am messing around with online profiles. Check me out on Linkin and Face book.
