Prof. Dr Wycliffe Wanzala was born on 24th August 1969, Mumias-western Kenya.

Training

I am a graduate with a BSc in Zoology, Botany and Meteorology with a BSc. dissertation in Medical Entomology, MSc in Medical Parasitology with MSc. Thesis in Immunology and Epidemiology. l earned my PhD from Wageningen University and Research Centre, the Netherlands in Parasitology/Entomology/Ethnoknowledge-(Production Ecology and Resource Conservation) with a 3-year laboratory and field research at ICIPE, Nairobi, Kenya.
