- Excellence of taste in the fine arts and humanities, also known as high culture
- An integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior that depends upon the capacity for symbolic thought and social learning
- The set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution, organization or group

In this module, you will have an opportunity to reflect on what culture means to you, and to tell the class about your culture. We will then examine the implications of culture on business. It is very important for you to know how culture influences business practices if you are to be successful in business!

Role of culture in Business
Culture is a very important aspect in business because it plays a critical role in the success of the business.
Culture will determine the following
- The preference of the consumer
- The buying behaviour
Learning activity about culture
Learners will be required to down load information about Information Technology culture,business culture and health care culture fronm the web resoursces ,prepare about 12 slides for visual presentation
Procedures to follow
- Choose one topic among the three( It,business and health care cultures)
- Identify information about their different roles from web resources
- Prepare 12 slides about the given topics(remember to provide headings,sub headings and paragraphs for your slides)
- Make a power point presentation of your findings
- At the end of your presentation,give your opinion about your topic and compare and contrast with the existing culture in your community,country
- Peer colleagues are given 5 to 8 minutes to ask questions or contribute their comments
