I am Okechukwu Okogwu
Applied Biology Department, Ebonyi State University, PMB 53, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Zoology, Masters Degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology and PhD in Hydrobiology and Fisheries from Abia State University and University of Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Applied Biology, Ebonyi State University, Nigeria where my responsibilities include teaching of Ecology, Hydrobiology, Environmental Biology and General Biology courses. I also serve as Student's Adviser and have represented my faculty in several university activities.
Academic and Research Interest
My research interest is broad and includes studies on the impact of anthropogenic activities on rivers and lake, plankton Ecology, population dynamics of fish and development of alternative feed for juvenile fishes using local available materials. I am also interested fish statistics and conservation.
