Iam Nivedita Gopaul, from Mauritius, a peaceful multicultural country, in the Indian Ocean.
I am married, and has a cute daughter of 7 years old.
Professional background
I have been working as an educator in the Ministry of Education( Primary sector) for the past 10 years.
Responsibilities
As an educator, I have several duties such as mediating learning, acting as a facilitator for the learners, and I work mostly with young children, aged between 6-12 years old, so I have also a pastoral role to play, because have to inculcate moral values to the growing generation!

My Interests
Personal
I love reading books, eating, sleeping, praying, meditating, doing yoga, practising aerobics.
I love nature, and specially our lovely sea, and nice colourful flowers!!!
Professional
I will like to continue helping learners in their world of education so that they do become responsible adults in the future.
My wiki projects
- I registered for eL4C47, a Learning4Content workshop to learn wiki skills.
My optional community service (learning contract) project
I will like to sensitize young learners about bad eating habits and obesity, and its consequences, with the fast evoluting world, the death toll caused by heart
diseases and diabetes are incrasing alarmingly, even in Mauritius.
So learners must be aware of what is good/bad for their health when they are still young.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!!!!
I will like to submit my wikiproject by the end of December 2010.
