I'm Ana Lucia Sanchez Martinez.
Education
I have a B.A. in English Language Teaching and a Master's Degree in Education, both of which I studied at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes in Mexico.
My interests
I'm interested in education, teaching and languages.
Professional
I have been working as an English teacher for 15 years in different institutions working in elementary school, junior high, high school, undergraduate and graduate level at the university, as well as working with teachers from university and high school level. I have given English courses for all levels from elementary to advanced, special preparation courses for the TOEFL PBT, First Certificate, PET, reading comprehension and english for specific purposes. I have also worked giving different subjects in various semesters of the B.A. in English Language Teaching at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes. I was in charge of the International Baccalaureate at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes High School for six months and I was the coordinator of courses and exams for graduate students at the same univeristy for 3 years.
Personal goals for this semester
I'm planning to enjoy life more by traveling, exercising and eating right to have more energy.
I need to practice speaking, specially with native speakers of English so I'm planning to get in touch with some because my English fluency needs to improve since I've been working with level 1 students for quite a long time.
I would like to learn more about the use of technology in the EFL classroom and teaching-learning competences so I plan to finish this workshop and get into the university diploma in teaching-learning competences.
I'm interested in learning about the newest trends in the field so I always have reading material and I check Internet for any updates.

I still don't know on what wiki project I might work.
