The Commonwelth of learning is an intergovernmental organization of the Cmmonwealth's 53 states, headquartered in Canada. COL's finansial contributors, are: Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa and United Kindom.
COL's goal is to promote and develop the use of open learning. It acts under three sectors: 1)education. 2)learning for livelihoods. 3)human envitonmente.
The way of learning, that was invited by COL (electronic learning), helps countries to identify where livelihoods can be improved and helps to create matching learning opportunities.
COL's partners include national and international development agencie and banks (- this detail shows us the importance of the COL company).
WikiEducator is another COL's development of a virtual university. WikiEducator is a community resource for the development of free educational content.

Rosh Hashana
Rosh Hashanah, is the holiday that marks the beginning of the Jewish new year. Is in the Hebrew month of Tishrei, which coincides with late September and early October.
Unlike the other holidays, which have one holy day on which businesses are closed, Rosh Hashanah is a two-day holiday, and businesses are closed on both days. According to Jewish tradition, Rosh Hashanah commemorates the ending or the peak of the creation of the universe by the God. These are also the days on which God judges people’s actions throughout the year and decides their future for the coming year - death for the sinners, life for the God-fearing (pious). People whose status is uncertain- can wait to the Yom Kippur day. The period between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is called “The Ten Days of Repentance", during which people have the opportunity to atone for their sins by asking for forgiveness and pardon from the people they hurt.
On Rosh Hashanah itself, religious poems, called "piyyuttim", are added to the regular services. Biblical verses are recited at each point. The Shofar (ram's horn) is blown during Mussaf at several intervals. There are four different sounds that the Shofar makes: Tekiah (one long sound), Shevarim (3 broken sounds), Teruah (many short sounds) and Tekiah Gedolah (a very long sound). During the time when the Shofar is being blown- we must listen carefully, not talk and do Teshuva (repentance). In many synagogues, even little children come and hear the Shofar. Rosh Hashanah meals often include apples and honey, to symbolize a sweet new year. Various other foods with a symbolic meaning may be served, such as tongue or other meat from the head of an animal (to symbolize the head of the year). Pomegranates are used in many traditions: the use of apples and honey is a late medieval Ashkenazi addition, though it is now almost universally accepted. Round challah bread is served, to symbolize the cycle of the year.
The traditional greeting on Rosh Hashanah is "shana tova", for "a good year," or "shana tova umetukah" for "a good and sweet year" (sometimes people custom to add: "have a sweet year like the honey that we eat on Rosh Hashana). On Rosh Hashana Jews are being judged by God for the coming year, in order to this people say another greeting translates as "may you be written and sealed for a good year" (ketiva ve-chatima tovah).
Rosh Hashana is one of my favorite holidays and every year I wait expectationly to these two and so special days.
Yom Kippur
Yom Kippur Yom Kippur is probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year. It occurs on the 10th day of Tishri (on the last day of the "Ten Days of Repentance", which start on Rosh Hashana).
The name “Yom Kippur” means “Day of Atonement,” and that pretty much explains what the holiday is. During the ten days of repentance, people have the opportunity to atone for their sins by asking for forgiveness and pardon from the people they hurt. Yom Kippur is, actually, the day when we stop to ask for forgiveness and wait for the judgment of the God. According to Jewish belief, on Yom Kippur judgment is passed on each person for the coming year, in order to start the new year with a clean conscience, and secure in the knowledge that God forgives every person who truly sorry about all the bad things he/she has been done.
Yom Kippur connected to the believe that on this day Moses came down from Mt. Sinai with the second set of tablets engraved (Luhot Habrit) with the Ten Commandments. The Israelites, who waited years for Moses's coming, decided to build Golden Calf (God forbidden this). When Moses finally came back- God forgave the Israelites for the sin of the Golden Calf.
At the beginning of the Yom Kippur, Jewish stop eating and drinking. The paved road movement stops and any car appears. Many people go outside and meet each other. On Yom Kippur occurs a very strong unification, between all the Jewish people living in Israel. The fast overs at the second evening ( at the first evening we begin the fast).
At the end of Yom Kippur, we blow the shofar one last time before proclaiming "Next year in Jerusalem".
Sukkot
Sukkot (Feast of Booths) is the third holiday in the Hebrew month of Tishrei, and is one of the most important Jewish holidays. Sukkot is also one of the three holidays (Pesach and Shavuot) in wich Jewish come to Jerusalem, in order to pray. In the past, Jewish was, even, offering animal and grain sacrifices in this holiday.
Sukkot originates in the Torah. The Torah tells a difficult story about the Israelites, wich had to live in the desert after the exodus from Egypt. A sukka is a temporary place of living, usually with wooden or cloth walls on at least three of its four sides and a roof made of tree branches through which the sky can be seen. Customary invite friends, family and acquaintances to the Sukka. This custom calls: "Ushpizin". In the Sukka we must put four species. These are four types of plants(palm shoot, willow, myrtle branches and citron). They are used in ceremonial blessings on each day of the holiday, except Shabbat. One common explanation of the four species is that they represent the variety of characteristics in nature - every tree and fruit has its own qualities, like the different people, and for this God is thanked.
Sukkot is also known as the Harvest holiday, as it is celebrated in the autumn. A central theme in the holiday prayers is rain: the farmers thank God for this year’s harvest and pray for rain for the coming year.
Sukkot lasts seven days, from the 15th to the 21st of the Hebrew month of Tishrei (usually the middle of October). Bad luck that Sukkot can't be in a longer length of time, because it's one of the most happier and familiar holidays.
Application for a job
Hello,
My name is Noa Gelman and I'm 22 years old. I would like to apply for a work.
In my profession I'm a chef. During 10 years, I was learning in a special school for chefs. When I graduated, I worked in a Sushi bar. I was one of the chefs there and I worked pretty well. When I had to go to the army, the director asked me to stay working in his bar, but I couldn't stay.
A month ago I got out of the army. I was an army's chef and this made my time very enjoyable. After I get out of the army, I first of all went to this Sushi bar, hopping that they will receive me back. But, unfortunately, I discovered that the bar was closed for ever.
Now, when I'm out of the army, I really want to find a work that includes cooking skills. My hope is to work in an Italian's restaurant as a chef, only as a chef. The army promised me that they will give recommendations and if it's necessary they can talk directly with you. I also have a recommendations of three other places where I worked (there are also phones of my past bosses- you can talk directly with them too). All the documents are added in the second page.

Gregorian and Jewish calendars
Gregorian calendar
The Gregorian calendar is the mostly used calendar in the world today. In the year 1572, Boncompagni became Pope Gregory XIII. In this period was a crisis of the calendar - one of Christianity's most important dates was falling behind with respect to the seasons. Easter, which is based on the date of the vernal equinox (the first day of spring), was being celebrated too early in the month of March. The cause of this calendrical confusion was the over 1,600 years-old Julian calendar, established by Julius Caesar in the year 46 BCE.
Julius Caesar took control over the chaotic Roman calendar. It was a calendar horribly out-of-synch with the seasons of the earth, which are the result of the rotation of the earth around the sun. Caesar developed a new calendar of 364 1/4 days, closely approximating the length of the tropical year (the time it takes the earth to go around the sun from the beginning of spring to the beginning of spring). Caesar's calendar was normally 365 days long but included an extra day (a leap day) every four years to account for the extra one-quarter of a day. The intercalary (inserted into the calendar) day was added to February 25 each year. Years in the reformed calendar, which are numbered from the traditional Incarnation year of Jesus, continue the numbering system of the Julian calendar.
The changes made by Pope Gregory XIII corrected the drift in the civil calendar. This drift appears because the mean Julian calendar year (exactly 365 1/4 days) was slightly too long, causing the vernal equinox, and as a result- the date on which Easter was being celebrated, was to drift slowly forward in relation to the civil calendar and the seasons. The Gregorian calendar system dropped 10 days to bring the calendar back into synchronization with the seasons, and adopted the following leap year rule: Every year that is exactly divisible (can be divided without any remnant) by four- is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100; The centurial years that are exactly divisible by 400 are still leap years (for example: the year 1900 was not a leap year, on the other hand the year 2000-was a leap year).
In the era after the change, dates were written with O.S. (old style), or N.S. (new style) following the day, so people examining records could understand whether they were looking at a Julian date or a Gregorian date. While George Washington was born on February 11, 1731 (O.S.), his birthday became February 22, 1732 (N.S.) under the Gregorian calendar. The change in the year of his birth was due to the change of when the change of the new year was known. Due to the Gregorian calendar, March 25 was the new year, but once the new calendar was implemented, it became January 1. Therefore, since Washington was born between January 1 and March 25, the year of his birth became one year later upon the switch to the Gregorian calendar.
Today, we rely on the Gregorian calendar to keep us almost perfectly in line with the rotation of the earth around the sun.
Jewish calendar
In the Judaism, the calendar started from the creation of the world. In the world there are two main calendars: one is a sun calendar (based on the connection between the earth and the sun) and the second is a moon calendar (based on the connection between the earth and the moon).
The Jewish calendar is the only calendar (in our days), which integrates the both calendars. From one side, the specific dates are based on the moon's dates (i.e. they are 29 or 30 days). But, in the other side, the specific dates have to be based also on the agriculture's season (i.e. based on the sun).
In the Jewish calendar, the day starts at the sunset and lasts until the sunset of the day after or the appearance of the stars after the sunset. The Israelite month it's a moon month, which is measured from the dark phase of the moon until the next dark phase of the moon. Israelite months are: Tishrey, Heshvan, Kislev, Tevet, Shvat, Adar, Nisan, Iyar, Sivan, Tamuz, Av and Elul. Seven times in 19 years happens a leap year. In a leap year is added a month (with 30 days)- "Adar aleph" (between Shvat and Adar).
In Israel people use the both calendars: Jewish and Gregorian calendar. I can also say that most of the Jewish people, are relying on the Gregorian calendar (example: most of the Jewish are celebrating their birthday in the date, which appeared in the Gregorian calendar). But, the Jewish calendar still is very relevant- the Jewish holidays are celebrated only by the months, which appeared in the Jewish calendar.
A Fresh Start
Ryan Williams, a 15 years old dropout teenager, was sent to the one of the top boarding schools in order to improve his behaviour and studying. This goal really succeed, because Ryan became top of his class and even put himself in the top third of pupils at the school. This huge success astound also the producers of a new reality show, that decided to ask Ryan's mother a permission to do the show about the changes that happened in her son's life. The mother was ready to dispose her son without asking his opinion.
This story arouses many issues. First of all, how mother can send her child to a boarding school? How mother can move her boy away from her only because he was disruptive?! It does can be a horrible experience for a teenager, that it is only 15 years old. At this age, teenagers (in my opinion) need to be close to their parents, because the difficult period they past. If the parents decide to take their child away from them and put them in a boarding school it's another trauma for the child. He "loses" his parents and has to meet and live with a lot of new and different people, that don't have any relationship with you and maybe will want to hurt you.
Another issue is the decision of Ryan's mother to give a permission to do a reality show about Ryan. This is wonderful and amazing, that Ryan has changed and succeeds, but I think that this is a bad idea to put his story in a reality TV show. In a TV show the real reality gets lost and this can have a big influence on Ryan's life (and not necessary for a good side). Ryan's mother had to think about her child before she decided to dispose him to the reality TV show. She had to talk with him and ask for his opinion.
Comparison between the storeys: "A Fresh Start", "Homeless to Harvard" and "The Hip- Hop Project"
The three storeys talk about people who were in the lowest level of their life: 1) Ryan ("A Fresh Start") was very disruptive boy. He didn't go to school and barely communicated with his parents. Ryan was actually in the streets. 2) Liz ("Homeless to Harvard") grew up in a family of drug addicted people. They lived in worst conditions. When Lize's mom died, her father moved to a homeless shelter and she was placed in a children's shelter. But soon, Liz was dropped out of school and was living on the steers, sleeping in subway trains. 3) Many participants of the Hip-Hop project ("The Hip- Hop Project"), before the producing of the album, were just unfortunate teenagers whom had dropped out of school, been abused or spent time in prison.
The three storeys have a "happy end" after a huge change these people have done thanks to the chances each of them got. But the chances were different in each story: 1) Ryan's mother decided to take him in one of the Britain's top boarding schools to see how he would cope. Ryan not only coped, he even became one of the top third of pupils at the school. The chance he got (to start his studding in a new and a good school)- changes his life. 2) When Liz read about a scholarship to Harvard, offered by "The New York Time", she applied and was selected- one of only six out of thousands of applicants! Thanks to this chance, today, Liz is working toward her master's degree in psychology and sociology- instead of living in the streets. 3) Art-Start, a volunteer organization, decided to help at- risk teens that were homeless or living in shelters. The idea was to produce a hip- hop album with a group of teenagers. These teenagers had not many possibilities: or they agree to participate in this album, or they will stay living in shelters and be homeless. In June 2003, this group of teenagers produced a successful hip- hop album called: “Are you feelin'". Thanks to this chance, these teenagers had been acquiring many necessary life skills, such as: responsibility, self- discipline and cooperation with others.
The storeys of Ryan and the group of teenager, that produced an album, impressed also the media. They saw a big potential in these both storeys to make TV shows about them. 1) ("A Fresh Start") Ryan’s change impressed the producers of a reality TV show and they decided(with the permeation of Ryan's mother) to do this reality TV show only about the changes in Ryan's life, as a result of his joining to the Britain's top boarding school. 2) ("The Hip- Hop Project") as an added bonus to the successful hip- hop album that the group of teenagers produced, they got to perform their music on TV. A film documenting the story of the project and its successful result is currently being made
Conditions – English Exam
1. Concentrating:
Present- If you will not concentrate on the exam, you will not succeed.
Past- If I had concentrated on the exam, I would have done it well.
2. Understand the questions:
Present- If I will understand the questions on the final exam, I will do it very well and will get a great note.
Past- If I had understood the questions on the final exam, I would have done them all.
3. Visual/ auditory memory:
Present- If I will have a visual/ an auditory memory, I will succeed in every exam I'll do.
Past- If I had a visual/ an auditory memory, I could have done successfully the exam.
4. logic / logical / reasoning ability:
Present- If she will have logical abilities, she will do any mission in a perfect way and will know how to resolve her problems easily.
Past- She could have done any mission in a perfect way, if she had logical abilities.
5. world knowledge:
Present- If I will have world knowledge as you have, I will not study to exams, even though I know that world knowledge is not all.
Past- I could have known how to deal with difficult moments in my life, if I had a world knowledge.
6. eat:
Present- If I will eat before the exam, I will have enough energy to do the test in a better way.
Past- I could have enough energy for doing the test, if I had ate before.
7. sleep:
Present- The process of sleeping allow our body to rest and to got renewed energy for the new day. So, if we will sleep at least 9 hours at night, we will feel refreshed and ready, with enough energy, for doing our test.
Past- If I had slept a little bit more than only 6 yours, I could have done my test better than I’ve done.

My name is Mila and I am 17 years old. I was born on 22nd of October. I came from Ukraine to Israel, when I was three years old, so I don't remember anything from there. I study in a high school: "Ort Gutman". My favorite subjects at school are: sports, literature and history.The main reason why I love go to school, is my friends. I have many friends at school and I enjoy being with them. when we were 4 years old. So we are friends for 12 and half years old! I love her because she is very funny parson and she makes me laugh a lot. My best friend is Ilana Sahnovsky (which is also member of this project). We met When I come from school, I go to my room and torn on my favorite music. Sometimes, I even, dance in my room and sing. Dancing and singing help me to calm down after a very long day (I learned a lot. Sometimes even 11 hours a day :( ). I love all kinds of music, but "The Beatles" is my favorite band. I love them and their music very much (they have a song, called: "Michele" :)) I also love reading books and I read a lot (of course when I have time to).
I adore animals, but especially, I love cats. At home I have one and very cute cat- Danny, but I call him- Danky :)

About the Holocaust

Hello again :) So, Michele, how you doing? I'm fine, hope you to. Our teacher gave us a task- we have to discuss about the Holocaust (as you know, it's also our project this year). It's difficult to me to talk about this theme, because it's not the nicest theme to talk about. I live in a country with many Holocaust survivors, but their number is diminishing with the years. These people are very old people and many of them are sick (the main reason for their sickness is the things they past in the Holocaust). In my family, as I know, no one wasn't caught by the Nazis, because they ran away from Europe (instead of my grandfather, which was involved in the war). I had the honour to meet one wonderful woman, which is Holocaust survivor. She tolled me about her horrible experience in the ghetto she was sent to, and the separation of her most important thing- her family.
The theme of the Holocaust and the second war world itself, are the things which go with me all my life. This is the most horrible thing that racism can bring to. I don't have many things to say, only that people, which are denying the happened, have to be ashamed about them.

The connection between Tsunamis and elephants
I think that there is no parson in the world, who doesn't know what Tsunami is. This huge wave, that can destroy all the surroundings, make each other of us feel scared and worry. Instead the fact, that the Tsunami is something very dangerous, it's also an unmoral situation in which we fell earthquake!
As I said, people are very scared from Tsunamis, and the main reason for their worries, is the fact, that people can't predict when some natural disaster has to come; but what about the animals? Do they feeling something about a danger that may come soon? - Many scientists believe that they do feel something. If we, for example, will focus on the elephants, we can discover many storeys, that can be used as a prove to the idea, that the elephants have special sense, which allow them to feel danger before the earthquake.
One's I heard an interesting story about the connection between elephants and Tsunamis. Some people decided to go on a trip on elephants. About twenty minutes before the first wave hit, the elephants became extremely agitated and unruly. Four had just returned from a trip and their handler's had not yet chained them. These elephants helped the other five tear free from their chains. They all then climbed a hill and started bellowing. Many people followed these elephants up the hill. Then the waves hit. After the waves subsided, the elephants charged down from the hill, and started picking up children with their trunks and running them back up the hill; when all the children were taken care of, they started helping the adults. Many people were solved thanks to the elephants.
For me, this is another sign that the animals have special senses, which help them to fell earthquake, before it will happen. I also think that we must pay attention to this, because it's a great way to save people.

First of all go to the internet and write the link: http://www.wikieducator.org As you can see, in the left side of the site there are 4 squares. The first square, which called: "navigation", is the most usable square (in my opinion). In it you can find categories, which prepares you to the using of the site. For example: in the navigation's square there is help categories. In it you'll see examples for how to create an account or how to create your WikiEducator user page; etc... I recommend opening each one of the categories in the navigation's square. In the right side of the site, you can see the category "log in/create account". Enter to this and write your username and password (of course, you must not forget them!). After you finish this, you actually opened your WikiEducator user page (Congratulations! :))
Now, when you have your own page, you for sure will want to write some things and themes for discussion. As you can see, above there are some categories for choosing. Choice the "edit" category; then you can write some headline for the topics, which you want to talk about. When you write a main headline, you have to add at the left and at the right sides of the headline two equals (=) (two in the left side and two in the right side). If you want to write secondary headline, you have to do the same thing, but with three equals (=).
Another important thing that you have to do is enter to the category "my preferences" from above. There you have to check if all your details are written in the correct way, and choose what to mark under the word "E-mail" (in this way you will know how to receive important E-mail about the Wikieducator).
Now, every time you'll want to enter to your user page, you only have to press on your nickname, which will appear in the left side of the categories above.

How to use the "Israel-U.S forum"
First of all you have to enter to the next site: http://www.korczakschool.org/ As you see, under the main headline (in which is written: "Welcome to the Janusz Korczak international school") there are six categories- enter to the second category from the left side, which called: "High school". In this page you'll see a big square, in which you'll find a list of all the high school groups that take part in this project. In the eighth line is written: "Mullen High School, Denver, CO + ORT Gutman, Netanya"- this is the category, which you have to choose. Enter to this and then fill the forum login (the username and the password you will receive from the teacher). Now you can see a big square, in which you'll find some categories of opening forum. As you know, our goal is to enter to the Israel-U.S forum. In order to do this, you have to enter to the third category: "International students' lounge". Now, that we are in the forum, you only have to press on the "new topic" category and start to post your ideas and themes for discussion.

How to know a book without reading every word
Nowadays, there are a lot of ways to know about any book without even open it ones. The most successful example for a way to know a book without reading it is the internet. As we all know, the internet includes in it a huge database about anything. With the help of the search engine "Google", you can write the name of the book you want to read about, and the internet will find to you a lot of summaries about the book you asked about. Another way of knowing the book without reading it, is by reading the abstract at the back of the book. There will be written, in a very short way, about the book. When people go to library or choose to buy a book, they first of all read the abstract of the book. In this way they know if they want to buy the book or not.
My advice is to read the book without any helper, because if we will only read short summaries about books, we will stop to read the whole books.
What do I think about my English test
Today I received my English test and it was a 99 :) I'm so happy because I never received such a great grade in English for more than 100 years!!! I'm very very very happy!!!!!!! (: Mila, thank you for sharing. I am glad you are happy about your grade. )
About Israel
Hello Michele So how are you doing? Did you enjoy the holiday? Here in Israel the situation is difficult and risky. I don't know if you heard about this, I believe that you do, but we are managing a kind of war with Gaza. There are many victims from the both sides. The south side of Israel is bombarded almost every day, cities as Ashkelon, Ashdod and Sderot are bombarded the most. People there have to sit almost along day in the shelters; they don't have to go to school. You maybe think that it's good news not to go to school, but I'm sure that these kids prefer to learn in school, instead of running from the bombs and sitting a whole day in shelters.
For the last 8 years, the Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) was bombarding the city Sderot, almost every week. People there could not live normal lives for so many years! This situation was the main reason for the decision of the government to start a war against the Hamas. So the goal of this fighting is to stop the activity of the Hamas and return the normal life to Sderot residents.
Yesterday our soldiers entered Gaza. I'm very scared, because I know that there will be a lot of victims from our side, but there is no other way to stop the Hamas activity. It has to stop sometime and now is better than later. People here are killed almost every month from bombardments! Enough is enough! I hope that this war will show the world the real situation in Israel. Some countries are sure that Israel is playing games and it has to stop this cruel war, but I hope that now you will understand who the real victims are.
The idea of Israel is that on the 8th of January all Israelis will put in their Facebook profile a picture of the Israeli flag. I think I will do this, because now, more than any time, we have to be united.

Angels Online
Angels Online/CyberAngels is the largest online safety organization in the world, with approximately 4,000 volunteers, called Angels, operating in 14 countries. Today children and teens face horrible threats in the online world - insidious because they elude detection, making them difficult to avoid. In response to citizens' calls for assistance in dealing with online threats, the Guardian Angels (excited in 1979) become Cyber Angels in 1995. CyberAngels work from home. They visit chat rooms to see if anyone is in need of help. CyberAngels have been specially trained to track down and expose cyber- stalkers. Therefore, they will also advise you how to locate and confront your attacker online. Usually after this kind of “treatment” your stalker will quickly vanish, but if the opposite will happen- your Angel will tell you what steps you can take, to deal with this problem. When the problem has been resolved, your Angel will simply disappear. I never heard about the existence of CyberAngels. I think, that if I knew about this organization before, I could have help in dealing with some problems, which I faced during chats with people.
Today CyberAngels is one of the oldest and most respected online safety education programs in the world.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a social interaction in which one person responds to suggestions given by another person (the hypnotist), for imaginative experiences involving changes in perception, memory, and the voluntary control of action.
When most of us think of hypnosis, we imagine a mysterious man with a pointed beard waving a pocket watch back and forth in front of our eyes, and putting us into a deep sleep. Why do we see the hypnosis process as a mysterious thing? Maybe the reason is the behaviour of the hypnotist —the hypnotist’s repetition of sounds or gestures, his soft, relaxing voice, counting backward from 10 to 1—are just a part of the drama that makes hypnosis seem mysterious.
The hypnosis process provides a setting, where behaviour, that would usually be considered inappropriate, is allowed. Hypnosis is a kind of release- a way to let go the things, which in regular situation you will hide them from people. The subjects of clinical hypnotists are usually people with problems who have heard that hypnotherapy works for relieving pain or overcoming a fear. Some use hypnosis to recover repressed memories, memories of past lives, or hidden memories. Some use hypnosis to discover truths hidden in the unconscious mind.
Sometimes I think that if someone would recommend me to do hypnosis, I would agree to do this. Maybe in this way, I could finally talk about the things that are bothering me- things that I can’t talk with anyone. Hypnosis can be also a good way to deal with problems, which in regular situations I couldn’t deal with. However, hypnosis is more than that. It allows the conscious and subconscious to work together without confrontation on the same idea at the same time, and since conflict between these parts of the psyche results in anxiety - the therapist can utilise this to successfully overcome many problems. As a result, amazing things can be achieved when an individual's subconscious starts working for them rather than against them.
Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis to apply various forms of psychotherapy to the client. Hypnotherapy can successfully treat those individuals suffering from neurosis as opposed to psychosis, or other forms of mental illness, such as borderline personality disorder and schizophrenia. Often neuroses can be dealt with successfully if the onset was after the age of 3 years. Hypnotherapy can be used to subtract the emotional stacks into an individual that have been built upon over months, or even years, and help to restore their confidence. Depression, which often involves feelings of low self-esteem, can be treated, although it would be necessary to ensure that the client was receiving the necessary medication before beginning therapy. Hypnotherapy cannot completely change a person's entire personality, although the ancestral memory approach can be applied effectively to help individuals in bringing out their best qualities and adapting to a variety of situations they may past throw.
