Mentor at Empire State College, SUNY in Community and Human Services
Binghamton University (SUNY) - BA. University at Albany (SUNY) - MSW & DA in Humanities (Womens's Studies and Social Welfare)
New to open education - Interested in learning how to incorporate this model into mentoring. I am a mentor in Community and Human Services and there seems to be a natural fit between this area and open education, resources and collboration.
For 12 years I was the social worker at the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern NY in Albany, NY. I worked with brain injury survivors, individuals and families. My model of inquiry was grief and loss and I used a strengths perspective to inform growth and change.
I adore my 3 dogs and 4 cats - would love to have more :)
