Athletics Competition The Athletics competition will be held from 12 to 16 July 2007 (5 Days) . All Athletics events will take place at the Olympic Stadium . The maximum number of athletes who may take part in the Athletics competition at the Games is 300 .

Events

Technical Organisation The Athletics competition for disabled at 9th All Africa Games will be held in accordance with the rules in the IPC Athletics Section Rule Book , the IAAF HANDBOOK 2004 – 2005 and the IPC Handbook in force at the time of the ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games.

Medals

The prizes for all men’s and women’s events will be awarded at the conclusion of the finals. Athletes who finish within the top three in their events will be escorted to the staging area. In the event that an athlete is selected for doping control, he/she will be chaperoned to the staging area so he/she can participate in the medal ceremony before following doping control procedures.
