Completed M.A., and M.Phil., from Madurai Kamaraj University. Tamil Nadu. 

Did Ph.D in ancient Tamil Literature from Delhi University. 

Joined as a Temporary Lecturer(1984) in School of correspondence courses and continuing education.

Now this Institution has been renamed as SCHOOL OF OPEN LEARNING.   

Area of interest: Ancient Tamil Literature and Bhakthi Literature.
