The knowledge is stored in people’s memories and activities. It is expressed in folklore, cultural values, beliefs rituals, community law, local language, equipment, agricultural practices, plant species and animal breeds. The knowledge encompasses wisdom and teachings of a community and is communicated orally. The generic characteristics of this knowledge include its uniqueness to every culture.
