NATURAL VEGETATION. Natural vegetation refers to the plant coverage on the surface of the earth.Plant kingdom is an important segment of biosphere and it determine the level of ecological balance in a given geographical regio.The plants have wide range of species ranging from micro plants i.e mosses and lichen to macroplants i.e.big trees. The groups of trees with stems, branches and leaves which cast the shadow of its foliage on the ground are categorised as forest.There is some technical difference between natural vegetation and forest.Micro flora,grasses,shrubs,bushes and trees are included in the former category and while the latter is the association of trees,sub set of vegetation.
