My profile
Hi I'm Losh, I'm 23 and I'm from Aguascalientes. I graduated last year from the BA in ELT. I am lucky of having gotten the opportunity to work at the UAA one year ago and I'm still here. I've also been teaching children for 5 years. I love my profession and I hope to continue doing my best!
Education
BA in English Language Teaching at the UAA. (2004-2009)
My interests
I love reading, drawing, listening to music and dance.
I like sports specially gymnastics.
I love travelling even though I don't do it often.
Professional
I love teaching! I'm interested in studying a Master's degree in Linguistics either in Mexico or abroad. <span style="font-style: italic;" />
Personal goals for this semester
For each of the three below, discuss what your goals are and how you plan to achieve them.
- Even though I am teaching English now, I know I need to keep on improving my skills for communication in English. To become a better communicator of English I will look for different environments where I can practice my English, for example chatrooms, in the classroom, with my friends (the ones who already speak and helping the ones who don't), etc. I think that we can learn something new everyday, even in our native language that is why I'm open to new ideas and new knowledge.
- My purpose is to explore different techniques and theories that explain how languages are learned and take it into consideration when planning my classes and teaching the lessons. It is important to be aware of the learning styles and differentces among our students, so that they can take advantage of the class in a fair way. Also, to vary the kind of exercises in the class will provide Ss different opportunities to interact and use the language in several situations.
