Objectives

Students will be able to: Identify the parts of a plant. Label and state the purpose of the parts of a plant. Appreciate the importance of plants in our environment.

Assignment

Student will be responsible for: Creating a Scrap Book with different types of Plants. Carrying our experiment on the growth of a Plant. Creating a Collage with pressed plants/flower in their environment.

Activity

Students will bring their own plants to class. Each child will have materials such as, a plastic bag, string, and water. Children will water the plant. Then, children will tie the plastic bag around the plant and tie with the string. Students will observe the plant for a day. Create a report on their observation.
