Motivation
I am hereby applying for a Masters degree in Information System (MIS) from your institution. In fact, I hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science from National University of Rwanda currently working in the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources “MINAGRI” in Crop Intensification Program and Post Harvest Handling and Storage Task Force where I am in charge of voucher system and working on other ICT tools used to improve data and information management in the Agriculture Sector such as AMIS, eSoko, FAMIS and MINAGRI website in this carrier. From my experience in this carrier of Computer Science especially in Information Management coming from either in my work place or private activity, I fully recognize that our political, economic, and technological environments are constantly changing, and thus management needs to be able to adapt quickly and accurately to any new condition. I found this Masters program in Information system as important to improve my carrier and contribute more to the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Rwanda and entire World development. I believe obtaining a Master's Degree will provide the necessary background for me to be able to anticipate and react to ever-changing environments.
Commitment
After the completion of my studies, my knowledge will be used on the focus of creating a subsidy system wich will be based on smart card usage. This will help my institution to.....................
- small holder farmers
- Big farmers
- Other intersted in maize growth
This will be done through the network of:
- Fertilizer Distributors
- Fertilizer retailers
- Service providers who work as facilitators for the farmers
