Perspectives in Learning and Cognition I would like you to situate my lectures within the contexts of the three forces in psychology- Behaviourism, Psychoanalysis and Humanistic Psychology. These are the psychologies that apply to education so to say, in a traditional mainstream acadamic way. Your study of educational psychology spans these three approaches.

As students of Learning and Cognition you span the pespectives of Behaviourism, Cognitivism and Constructivism. While it's not neccessary to always answer the question "In which camp does a particular learning theory fall?", it is important to overview your study of this field in these three pespectives. I say this as I would not want you to miss the forest for the trees.
