MIDTERM CIS2

My topic was on eradicating extreme poverty and hunger by 2015.

Computers play a vital role in helping rid the world of poverty and hunger in the world. Through the use of advanced technology we are reducing deaths, improving education, and feeding the hungry.

Technology in farming techniques is producing higher crop yields, thus feeding more and more people.

Internet access is becoming available to a greater number of poor people. People who live in rural areas can have access to the internet and all the information it provides.

Factories in these countries are able to run more efficiently. The factories are producing greater amounts per worker.
