My name is Judy Dlamini. I work in the Department of Communication Science from University of Zululand. I spend most of my time with my family, engaged in the things of God, doing research and working. My hobbies would be:

  1. watching movies,
  2. being outdoors around nature,
  3. reading.

Community outreach

I'm passionate about community outreach especially in the field of education. We have schools (primary and high schools) in KwaZulu Natal who have computers but don't know how to use them. In collaboration with these schools, I provide short courses on computer literacy and how to integrate ICT into their classroom. I mentor these educators until they manage their own labs. Engage their learners in collaboration with other school local and international. Currently the project in the pipeline is trying to get schools in the deep rurals exposed to ICTs.

Published articles

I have published an article in the journal of Humanities and Social Science. Title: The effects of alcohol consumption on student life at a rural campus Journal: Inkanyiso Journal of Humanities and Social Science ISSN 2077-2815, Volume 4 Number 1, 2012

  • I'm currently doing my MA in Communication Science.
