WIKI Background
The WIKI is really a quick and simple way of producing a web site. Teachers would love to create wikis to teach their students. I will also be creating wikis to train teachers as a substitute to a face-to-face workshop.We will cut travel ,refreshments and print material costs.You will have much more teaching time with your students as we become an online community of learners.Collaboration at its best. I have initiated a project with NOSTT,some Physics teachers and a few Curriculum Officers to learn how to create wikis.
The National Open School of Trinidad and Tobago and WIKIEDUCATOR of Canada have been instrumental in the process. WIKIEDUCATOR is a project of the Commonwealth of Learning . We have also been given the motivation by Ms Dipwatee Maharaj, Director, Curriculum Planning and Development, Ministry of Education.
