Biography
About myself
My name is Ruth D. G. Njiru. I am a Kenyan Lady who is young at heart and loves socializing, networking and making lifetime friends. Currently, working as a part time lecturer at Egerton University in the department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management. A graduate with the ability to generate and disseminate significant knowledge and information plus offer exemplary productive services to contribute positively towards realizing short term and long term goals of the respective institution. Innovative, a highly-strategic thinker, hardworking, demonstrate success as a leader of operations, programs, teams and result oriented with excellent communication interpersonal and relation skills. I live by the mantra of "we only get one life so live life to the fullest" I love dancing, traveling,listening to music and enjoying a cup of coffee in the evening as i treat myself to a nice series.
Professional life
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University Kenya. A Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the same institution with a bias in Agricultural policy and Trade from the shared facility at University of Pretoria. My interests include lecturing and mentoring the young people. I also like undertaking research in the agricultural sector and i have worked with various individuals and organisation in undertaking research. I have also published a paper about dairy cooperatives
