My Community

I grew up in the city of Pines and also known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It has the coldest weather most especially duing the months of December to February. People in the city came from all adjoining towns thus have a diversed community. The city has experienced a strong earthquake in 1990 that killed a lot of people and devastated properties but through the leadership and collaborative work of all the city officials ,it has regained its beauty and life. Now, it is one of the booming cities in the Philippines.

Me

I am a teacher by profession and has been in this career for 17 years. I am a mother of two wonderful children. I love cooking and experimenting recipes for my family. My other interests are singing, dancing and watching DVDs. Traveling to different places is one of my passions in life . I want to explore other places in my country and other countries as well. My computer skills are very basic yet. I want to improve on this skill as required in the line of work I am doing now.

My Work

I joined the FODE family just recently. I am one of the Mathematics Course Writers and this is my first time to be in a distance mode of teaching. As a teacher in the classroom for 17 years, I felt a big difference and adjustment because for the first time that my throat has rested from talking . Also, I have to adjust with the whole day sitting position and only my mind and fingers working to finish the tasks assigned to me.
