I am Chandrakant Puri, Professor & Director of Centre for Distance Education of SNDT Women's University in Mumbai, India. I have joined this group because I felt that we will be able to share each others ideas and content which will be useful to enrich the learning of our students. I am basically a social work professional specialising in community organisation having doctorate in rural development in the area of development of indegenous people of India. Presently working on 'tribal policy of India' as part of my post doctoral. Please feel free to interact with me and count me if you require any help in the above areas in terms of course development/ rsearch.

My interests

I'm interested in:

• I am a folk musician and sing folk songs.
• another interest is writing. I have been writing my field experinces as 'community organisor' when i was working wtih indegenous people. Will soon come in book form.
