WORK EXPERIENCE
I work as a primary school teacher since 1997. For the periods 2003-04 and 2006-08 I worked as an administrative assistant in the Primary Education Directorate dealing with a variety of financial, secretarial and administrative issues. I am appointed Assistant Principal at the 13th Primary School of Drama, Greece since 2012.
EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS
During my teaching career I have taught all subjects (mainly: maths, history, language, science) in all primary school classes.
With my teaching, I aspire to promote humanism, the value of education and culture, and respect of the environment to my students.
I create and use blogs for learning purposes archiving and offering easy access to students and parents to the work of their children.
Bellow a sample of school blogs in Greek language:
I value the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange, thus I implement collaborative projects with my class and other European partners that promote ICT literacy and European consciousness among pupils. In 2013, in collaboration with 7 teachers from different European schools I developed a school project titled “Year of Languages” which was awarded with both the eTwinning National and European Quality Labels.
In general, I pursue initiatives that promote in-school colleague training, extra-curricular activities and collaboration as well as working on topics of international and European interest.
