wikis can be very useful tool in Knowledge management. An organisation can create a wiki to host policies for staff to quickly refer to them.

In libraries I see several applications of wikis

1. To document operational procedures
2. To document routine tasks for easier staff transfers
3. To play as platforms for library guides
