My profile

My name is Craig Agnew. I live with my family in Nelson, NZ. I work at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology where I teach Contemporary Music Performance, Music Theory and Guitar. I also have the role of Open Educational Resource (OER) Developer. In this role I support staff in the understanding and use of OER, as well as work on other projects that support the OER community and cause.

My interests

I'm interested in:

• All sorts of music - I have played guitar in almost every conceivable situation and style. Current projects include a jazz fusion group, a gypsy jazz group and an alternative rock group.
• OER - I strongly believe that knowledge should not be unfairly regulated and that education should be a shared, democratic experience
• Educational Technology - I love playing with toys and ideas
• And, of course, family and friends!!
