You receive a call from your friend who works as a Human Resources Officer for one of the largest corporations in the country. She or he has just had a meeting with the Managing Director during which the Managing Director clearly indicated his or her lack of appreciation for having a staff-training budget as it consumes heavily on the company profits. She or he has been asked to give justification as to why the Training Unit should not be abolished in order to save on expenses and increase the organisation’s profits. Write a report advising your friend accordingly.
