Hi Avigail,

Thanks for the interest; some things like the termites just demand a video. When appropriate I certainly intend for my students to add clips. However because I don't want to add another layer of tech onto a course that is not in any way a computer science course.

I have a hard time using the Video editor; it's not intuitive to me; I may get to it once the course ends. I have used the MS movie maker software and it works well for me. Dmccabe 18:47, 14 February 2008 (CET)

Hi Declan,

Interesting feedback ~ certainly I understand that when you keep adding 'tech' to the activities, there's a point that people feel overloaded.

Regarding the video, I've used MovieMaker, and it's a real dog...and memory hog...would be nice to try something different.

Hi Randy, I have a little puredigital video camera with the usb connection on the side; I find that I can bypass the video editor and upload short clips directly and that works for me. What other video editors have you tried thet you might recomend?Dmccabe 17:11, 15 February 2008 (CET)

Hi RANDY,

I just got my hands on Pinnacle. Still a memory hog, but easier to use than MovieMaker. I'm test running it for work. So far so good. If interested I'll give you more feedback after some use.Dmccabe 03:16, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
