We can't use Flatworld Knowledge texts :-(
I'm afraid that we can no longer use Flatworld knowledge texts -- the open access versions have been discontinued. A useful lesson for us to maximise the inclusion of resources with appropriate licenses to avoid this challenge in the future.
A core principle of engagement of the OERu is that learners will not be required to purchase any texts and that course must be based solely on open access materials.
I appreciate that there may not be a single open access text that will cover all the needs of this course and suggest an approach where we give learners options to access multiple open access resources. Perhaps we can find substitute readings for this activity from your list in the planning section and we could do a little more research for suitable substitutes?
