Using mobile technologies for accessing Internet

Jump to: navigation, search

Your abstract strikes an important code which is at the very heart of my feeling - i.e., use of mobile technologies for accessing internet in the developing world. In my opinion, this option is likely to be the way forward in the short term if masses living in the rural and remote areas of the third world are going to take advantage of benefits which come with internet accessibility (please check for my project outline in the pcf5wikieducator, section of the "Cross-cutting Themes" . The title of my proposal is:

"High Cost Of Internet Connectivity In Africa: How Do We Achieve Mobile Telephony Success Story?"

Since my proposal is in form of Round-Table discussion, I would like to request you to be one of the discussants during the PCF5 Conference.

Dear Gmuwanga, I posted my full length article on this wiki educator. You may go through it for some more ideas on your topics. You may also look at the References. As for your proposal, I read it. It is mostly at the discussion stage. But discussion becomes meaningul supported by previous studies and experiences on this subject. I have no problem to be at your round table. Thanks for your comments on myproject. Regards Prof.CSHN Murthy.
