User page first?

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi Brent, I reckon we should get straight into user pages. I explain it as introducing yourself to the community. In it we'd cover basic editing and adding an image. Eventually someone always asks, "but anyone can edit this and I might not know" - to which I reply by showing them their user preferences and watch pages.

After that, creating a sub page to their user page for their "open ed resource/s". When anyone feels ready with their OER, we take it out into the "real wiki" and share it out etc.

What do you think? I think it only involves moving your preferences section to later on..
