User needs

in this society it is vital for librarians to be very proactive, shift our focus from being storehouses and become information researchers, we should be costomer or user need driven. it is time we should start operating like really businesspeople, we should pose and think about our users what would they realy want us to provide? will this that we provide satisfy their needs? because at the end this is all what matters and important.
