Summer of content & roadshows

Jump to: navigation, search

Hello, Kim - saw your comment on the Developer Roadshows on Talk:Summer_Of_Content_Proposal. It sounds great, and I'd like to learn more about it and what could be done to revive it - it might make a great series of SoCon projects with interns and mentors throughout Africa, especially if we broadened it to focus on free culture and content as well as code. Do you have time to chat either via email (mel at laptop dot org), irc, or phone (847.970.8484 - I'm in Boston, GMT-5) about this sometime as a potential big push for the upcoming southern summer session?

Also, apologies we didn't get to connect over lunch at Wikimania - I think we ate precisely out of sync with each other that day. But I'd love to talk with you about this and other things - perhaps on IRC, if you pop in there on occasion. I'm usually on freenode with the nick mchua, most active on #olpc-content and #olpc (but also on #wikipedia, #wikiversity, #cc, and others).

Drop me an email, and we'll figure out a way to talk. Thanks! Mchua 09:05, 14 August 2007 (CEST)
