Identify Objectives for the Meeting

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi Leigh,

If you could identify your specific objectives for the meeting - that would be helpful. This will help me to understand your perspective, and goals, and then I can put some comments in.

From the WikiEd side, we are looking for assistance with (1) a mini-project related to Handouts for Teachers, or something even 'smaller' such as 'learning activities' for a given subject; and (2)the development of a community cluster approach to materials development.

I'd like to add to Randy's thoughts

The "content" of any project is very flexible - for us the establishment of community clusters that support what we are aiming to achieve is an important objective. I guess that there are many potential clusters, eg:

1) Development of PD resources in eLearning 2) A cluster that promotes and supports community development in WikiEd 3) Supporting and addressing community needs 4) Whatever

It would be pretty cool if WikiEducator could find smart and effective ways of building and supporting community clusters that focus on community needs.

Sure -- this is not easy, but hey - were all pioneers here.

Cheers
