Error in the Icon Assess.gif image
When reading the “All iDevices” page I saw that if was an error in the Icon_Assess.gif file, the image was not showing, just the link. I went to the Image:Icon_Assess.gif page and I saw that the last version was not correct, showing an image size of 0x0 pixels and a file size of 34 KB. I copy the line displayed:

Instead of reverting to the original image that you uploaded (I was not sure if this was going to work), I uploaded the original image and downloaded again. I put as well a brief explanation on the discussions page of the image.
The error was solved and the icon was showing properly in the “All iDevices” page, but with a white background surrounding the image. Using a graphics editor I did set this white background as transparent, and uploaded the file again, but the white background was still showing.
Finally I decided to revert to the original image that you uploaded in July 2007. The white background does not show now, but it shows a white square surrounding the image.
Two questions:
- Did I act correctly trying to fix the error of the icon not showing?
- What has to be done to remove white (or any colour) backgrounds from images?
