What happens if a facilitator modifies a rubric after there have some submissions?

In the current iteration of the tool it is allowed to change the rubric and this displays no errors or warnings. As, currently all of the data is stored as individual evaluations ( as a json ) which also contains the questions from a rubric as we discussed in one of our weekly hangouts , individual evaluation data can be successfully retrieved. Currently, also two separate evaluation tags can be created which reference different rubrics but the same activity, and the viewevaluations tag and the evaluations api will retrieve the data successfully.

Example :

But, in future releases there may be a problem with this approach. Till now we have not figured out the statistics for consolidated marks for the evaluations we obtain. Also, we have not clearly discussed the way to calculate scores. I have a basic version of it that we used in the OCL4Ed prototype but did not add it to the current iteration.

Once, we have scoring and consolidated dashboards there may be limitation of changes to the rubric that would be permitted.
